We probably need to talk about this...
Mostly because we (churchy types, Evangelical informed faith spaces, ect) spent a smooth twenty five years trying to ideologically beat the gay out of people
And now those people are walking wounded
We taught people that God only loves them if they fold and forget the parts of themselves that are not "hetero normal"
At no point in your experience are you going to stop being attracted to what you Are attracted to...
The church never went back and did the intentional unlearning of toxic sexuality... Which is why ✌️Satan ✌️ gets blamed for sexual behaviors we never learned to take responsibility for
No dear heart your sexuality is God's gift to you... And that gift is your responsibility
Sound be noted..."it was good" is the affirmation that was given to the entirety of creation... What God has created is good... You are good...as you are... The whole of you is Good
And until people in faith spaces learn to bless creation and the created... We are only passing down bottled bondage
