Lord, we pray as the scriptures say we should, for all taking the oath of office at the Executive level of government across Nigeria. We ask you to fill them with your Spirit so they have capacity to lead beyond their ability. #May29 
We pray for you to open their eyes to see like you see; to see themselves as your servants and servants of the people, to recognize the phenomenal value of human life and to recognize opportunities for empowering all to create wealth. #May29
We pray for you to protect them and their families from harm, and to give them wisdom to maintain balance, paying attention to their families and their health while handling the pressure of state duties. #May29
We pray for you to give them wisdom to choose wise advisers, who genuinely have their interest and the interest of the people at heart. Deliver them from Satan’s agents that will feed their ego and greed. #May29
We pray for you to deliver them from fear and from every temptation, from the sense of entitlement that will push them to acquire money and indulge in pleasure to extreme levels. #May29
We pray for you to give them a tender conscience and the courage to say and do what is right even where it requires sacrifice. Give them courage to confront evil and to reward what is good. #May29
We pray for you to open the eyes of all Nigerians to capture the picture of a developed Nigeria, to give them the wisdom and willingness to play their part and the courage to hold leaders accountable to high standards. Amen. #May29
