The tenacity with which Orbán clings to the EPP shows how important being part of a large group is for your power in the EP (true for most parliaments, including the UK one). It also shows the colossal mistake the Tories made when leaving the EPP. 1/2 politico.eu/article/hungar…
The article also wrongly seems to assume that being against migration should put Orbán and Salvini in the same pot. The thing is this: Salvini wants no migrant in Italy and wants to send them elsewhere, Orbán does not want to be that elsewhere. 2/2
This shows once again that two parties that are both against something are not necessarily able to find a solution together 3/2 (yes, again)
