YouTube is probably the most irresponsible of all the social media platforms with the potential to do the most widespread damage.

I wish I could tell you you could make this a safe space for your kids. But they are reckless, and arrogant, and only about growth.
If you work for a social media platform and you're not spending all day, every day, fighting for real reform, wtf are you doing?

JUST THIS WEEK:

Facebook declined to take down the doctored propaganda (not satire, ffs) about Pelosi. Which YouTube did.

YouTube refused to abide by its own standards to stop Crowder's homophobic attacks on @gaywonk.

And surely Twitter did something really dumb/awful.
The quickest way for reform at these companies is by employees revolting—and talking. Where any change has come, it has largely been leveraged by them.

Your vesting isn't worth the destruction of democracy.
