the county is significantly whiter than the city, but in terms of the people at this table? every county rep, both elected and staff, is white presenting.
i’m sure that has nothing to do with the passive aggression in their pushback against wes talking about how the county has no comparable program to the city’s minority business task force & low interest loans.
as is typical at meetings like this, i can’t see anyone here who isn’t required to be here - whether because they’re a city/county employee, a member of the media, or bound by an ancient curse (me)

this meeting was mostly everyone agreeing they need to talk about stuff at the next meeting. that would normally be six months from now but vice mayor heather hill asked if they could meet again in three months instead.
to be fair, everyone agreed the historical marker that misspells a man’s name should be corrected
