While your interpretation is, of course, always valid, getting angry at creators because you formed your opinion in the middle of the story really isn't.
Dodger isn't the first time people have seen asexuality where I didn't necessarily intend it. After FEED came out, several people wrote me to say how much it meant to them that Georgia was ace.
That trilogy was not done, and George wasn't ace, she was just someone with single-target sexuality. She wasn't interested in anyone else. Some of those same people got mad at me when it came out that George was straight and enjoyed sex with the one person who interested her.
If the story isn't over, your interpretation could still be contradicted by the text. It isn't personal, unless the author writes "Susan, who was straight, so fuck you Paul Terry of Walnut Creek, CA..." and then they're an asshole.
