1/ In the words of a good friend Steve Huffman, founder and CEO of Reddit, “don’t expect fundraising to get easier.”

Fundraising is a challenge no matter how successful you become.
2/ Having been rejected by every VC in Silicon Valley at least twice, Steve will be the first to say he’s not good at fundraising.
3/ Despite that rejection, his last two rounds @reddit totaled $550 million.

It takes persistence to find the right investor-founder fit. Chemistry plays a large part in this.
4/ Fundraising tip from Steve: Deals that are going to close will look like deals very quickly. And deals that will never close will never look like real deals.
5/ You never know when you’ll meet the right investor.
