It's not illegal, nor should it be, to receive information about a political opponent from someone who happens to be a foreigner. Think about the First Amendment implications of that. I know free speech is increasingly regarded as an obsolete concept, but come on
You're really telling me that if a Canadian or Norwegian emails a Kamala Harris staffer something negative about Trump, they're going to immediately run to the FBI and report this as "interference"? What a joke
Mueller specifically wrote that the First Amendment would "pose constraints" on any prosecution of Don Jr. or Kushner for merely receiving info from a person who happened to be a foreigner. Funny how Mueller of all people is more cognizant of these issues than most in the media
