Okay let’s run through what just happened in the last 16 minutes at SunTrust Park:
Game stopped at 9:00 because it started to rain. Grounds crew starts to put tarp on field. It stops raining. They are waiting for instruction on if they continue with tarp.
It starts raining again. Fan runs onto field while Umps are making decision on if we continue play. Fan gets taken down hard by 5-6 security guards. Laid out. Dances off field, I guess not understanding consequences.
It stops raining again. Still waiting on instruction on tarp. Umps decide we play on. Ground crew takes tarp off and gets mound ready.
Game goes to start. Another delay because EY and Wash forgot they needed to get back to their spots with #Braves batting. EY can’t stop laughing at himself.
9:16... game starts back up. The end.
