A split decision with no majority opinion from the court in Gundy, a case raising the "nondelegation doctrine" in a sex-offender registry case. Alito provided the more liberal justices with their 5th voting upholding the delegation, but wrote separately. supremecourt.gov/opinions/18pdf…

The court sides with the cross in the cross case: supremecourt.gov/opinions/18pdf… ... The lineup here says a lot about "the new center" on the court, which is not at the center of anything other than the court:

As @mimms asks, "WHAT DOES IT MEAN?" In short: 5 justices, so a majority, are on board with the reasoning of (most of) the opinion written by Alito, so that is now the Law of the Land. Everything else is just the opinions of a few justices—agreeing, going further, or dissenting.
In PDR Network v. Carlton & Harris Chiropractic, Roberts joins an opinion by Breyer on behalf of them and the more liberal justices in a case that wasn't resolved at #SCOTUS but instead remanded for more discussions of legislative v. interpretive rules. supremecourt.gov/opinions/18pdf…
