@PostDisclosure (1/6) Mr. Silvia wrote, "Bob Lazar speaking about why the [Gimbal] Craft need to tilt almost thirty years ago may be among the most compelling of his claims to now be given credence." I don't see how the video adds any credence to Lazar's 1989 tale. @SilvaRecord @UfoJoe11
@PostDisclosure @SilvaRecord @UfoJoe11 (2/6) of a younger cohort perhaps not grasping certain data points that were widely available before 1989. The tilting of UFOs prior to lateral movement was a very common observation long before 1989.
@PostDisclosure @SilvaRecord @UfoJoe11 (3/6) As Dr. Hal Puthoff wrote, in 1997, "One of the most consistently-observed characteristics of UFO flight is a ubiquitous pattern in which they tilt to perform all maneuvers." Indeed, distinguished NACA-NASA engineer Paul R. Hill, who died in 1991,
@PostDisclosure @SilvaRecord @UfoJoe11 (4/6) wrote a book in which he took the tilting behavior as well established, then devoted several chapters to his notions of how a UFO-generated force field related to the desired maneuver, degree of tilt, etc. Hill's book was not published until 1995,
@PostDisclosure @SilvaRecord @UfoJoe11 (5/6) so I don't suggest Lazar had read the book in 1989 -- but anyone who read UFO reports widely available before 1989, as Hill did and I suspect Lazar did (despite his denial), and with a little bit of imagination, could have formulated an "explanation" as vague
@PostDisclosure @SilvaRecord @UfoJoe11 (6/6) as Lazar's ("It's always chasing a little distortion"). Also, I think the currently available "Gimbal" video is too short to correlate that object's behavior with either "chasing a little distortion," whatever that is supposed to mean, or with Hill's detailed theories.
@PostDisclosure @SilvaRecord @UfoJoe11 2/6 was supposed to read, "This seems to be another case of a younger cohort perhaps not grasping certain data points that were widely available before 1989."
@PostDisclosure @SilvaRecord @UfoJoe11 I might add that the 2002 "Eric Davis meeting with Adm Wilson" document, currently the subject of much discussion, provides no support for the Lazar tale -- indeed, the document (if considered authentic) implicitly undercuts the Lazar account. Lazar spoke . . .
@PostDisclosure @SilvaRecord @UfoJoe11 of 9 captive spacecraft, witnessing one flying inside a hanger, and so forth. The "meeting notes" has the deputy intelligence chief for the Joint Chiefs partially uncovering, in 1997, a SAP studying a single "intact craft they believed could fly," on which . . .
@PostDisclosure @SilvaRecord @UfoJoe11 research progress had been "agonizingly slow with little or no success..." Setting all other factors aside, it requires considerable mental contortion to simultaneously believe both that what Wilson was told (as related in the notes) was true, and that Lazar's tale is also true.
@PostDisclosure @SilvaRecord @UfoJoe11 Apologies for my misspelling of Mr. Silva's name!
