How many prophecies of Christ PBUH are there in the Old Testament?

- THOUSANDS!

Ok, how many of them mention him by name? Or even his mother?

- None...

This deduction (eisegesis) isn't just biased; it's wrong! Many/same verses refer to Prophet Muhammad PBUH as well!

- NOPE!
Yes, Muhammad PBUH was mentioned in the Bible and Old Testament. He's prophesised in the book of Isaiah, chapter 29 verse 12:

“And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.”
When Archangel Gabriel commanded Muhammad PBUH by saying Iqra – “Read”, he replied, “I am not learned”. So this verse is talking about Muhammad PBUH as he was not learned, and the first word revealed to him was 'read' just as the verse mentioned.
Here is another verse from the Bible:

"I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him." (Deuteronomy 18:18)

- THIS REFERS TO JESUS!

Why would you say so?
- Jesus is a prophet, and a Jew...

So was Solomon, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hozea, Joel, Malachi, John the Baptist, etc. All Jews and all Prophets as well...

- *no reply*
According to you, Jesus is God, therefore, he's not like Moses. According to you, he died for our sins, therefore, he's not like Moses. According to you, he went to Hell for three days, therefore, he's not like Moses.

- *agrees*
In this verse, God is telling Moses that there will be a prophet 'like unto thee', which means that there will be a prophet like Moses. Who is this referring to? This verse is referring to Muhammad PBUH because HE was like Moses. Here's why:
1. Moses PBUH had a father and mother. Muhammad PBUH had a father and a mother. Jesus PBUH only had a mother.

Therefore Jesus PBUH is not like Moses PBUH but Muhammad PBUH is like Moses PBUH.
2. Muhammad PBUH and Moses PBUH were both born in the normal, natural course. But Jesus PBUH was created by a special miracle (Gospel of St. Matthew 1:18)

Therefore Jesus PBUH is not like Moses PBUH but Muhammad PBUH is like Moses PBUH.
3. Muhammad PBUH and Moses PBUH married women and begot children, but Jesus PBUH remained unmarried.

Therefore Jesus PBUH is not like Moses PBUH but Muhammad PBUH is like Moses PBUH.
4. Moses and Muhammad were accepted as prophets by their people although they went through hardships. But Jesus was rejected by his people (John 1:11).

Therefore Jesus PBUH is not like Moses PBUH but Muhammad PBUH is like Moses PBUH.
5. Muhammad PBUH and Moses PBUH both brought new laws, but Jesus PBUH did not (Mathew 5: 17-18).

Therefore Jesus PBUH is not like Moses PBUH but Muhammad PBUH is like Moses PBUH.
6. Muhammad PBUH and Moses PBUH both died natural deaths, but according to Christianity Jesus PBUH was killed on the cross.

Therefore Jesus PBUH is not like Moses PBUH but Muhammad PBUH is like Moses PBUH.
7. Muhammad PBUH and Moses PBUH both lie buried in earth, but Jesus PBUH rests in the Heavens.

Therefore Jesus PBUH is not like Moses PBUH but Muhammad PBUH is like Moses PBUH.
8. Muhammad PBUH and Moses PBUH were both spiritual and national leaders, Jesus PBUH was only a spiritual leader.

Therefore Jesus PBUH is not like Moses PBUH but Muhammad PBUH is like Moses PBUH.
9. Muhammad PBUH and Moses PBUH were both victorious morally and spiritually, Jesus PBUH had a spiritual victory.

Therefore Jesus PBUH is not like Moses PBUH but Muhammad PBUH is like Moses PBUH.
The above verse also says 'From among their brethren'. Moses and his people, the Jews, are addressed as a racial entity, and as such their brethren are the Arabs. Ishmael and Isaac are the sons of the same father Abraham, then they are brothers.
And so the children of the one are the brethren of the children of the other. The children of Isaac are the Jews and the children of Ishmael are the Arabs; they are brethren to one another. The children of Isaac are the brethren of the Ishmaelites.
Muhammad PBUH is from the brethren of the Israelites because he was a descendant of Ishmael. The prophecy mentions that the coming prophet who would be like Moses, must NOT arise from the 'Children of Israel' or from 'among themselves' but from their brethren.
Muhammad PBUH therefore was among their brethren and he was the prophet mentioned in the prophecy.
- Your argument sounds reasonable, but it is of no real consequence, because the incarnate God redeemed us from sin!

Not important? This isn't what God says. All that was Deuteronomy 18:18. God knew there are people like you, so for you is the next verse; Deuteronomy 18:19
Deuteronomy, 18:19 reads: And it shall come to pass (it's going to happen) that whosoever will not hearken unto MY WORDS which he shall speak in MY NAME, I will require it of him (in another translation, it reads "I will be the revenger").
God is warning you of not following Muhammad PBUH unto whom was revealed the Last Testament (the Quran) which is His Words, therein each chapter begins in God's Name "bismillahirrahmaaanirraheem".
In the New Testament, in John 1:19-25, the Jews were still expecting the fulfillment of the prophecy of "One like Moses"... John the Baptist is asked 3 questions which he answers all with the same answer, "No."

1. Are thou the Christ?
2. Art thou Elias?
3. Art thou THAT Prophet?
Open a Bible with concordance and cross-references, and you'll find in the marginal note for John 1:25 referring to the prophecy in Deuteronomy 18:18. The Jews had 3 distinct Prophecies; the coming of Christ, the coming of Elias, and the coming of THAT Prophet; Muhammad, PBUH.
Sometimes, not accepting truth isn't due lack of evidence, but a heart full of prejudice and arrogance. The term kaafir applies to a disbeliever, but it generally means someone covering [the truth].

Indeed, Islam is the truth. And what a beautiful truth it is!
