4) *deep breath* egged on by Austria' Chief of Staff who desperately wanted a war SPECIFICALLY TO IMPRESS HIS MARRIED GIRLFRIEND and I'm supposed to WORK instead of dedicating my afternoon to figuring out what some time-traveler with a VERY melodramatic flair was TRYING TO DO?

It's been a while since watching something, I've actually gone and found the editor's name to make sure I never hire them.
TV show, not a movie. I may give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they got bad footage. The script structure's weird, too.

I have to admit that sucking up to the powerful by saying he doesn’t want help paying his enormous student loans, so he gets a higher paying job sucking up to the powerful which will *naturally* pay off his student loans shows mastery of navigating the oligarchy.
$500k in debt, you’d think you’d have learned how to cure kids with cancer. This guy’s entire CV, literally every job he lists, is writing for right wing websites financed by billionaires. That’s a half mill wasted right there, if that’s your end goal.
I also have to ad,it, though, that if the wildly lucrative “young person who espouses conservative ideas to make old people feel relevant” gig had been around when I was young, I was just enough of a grifter to have given it a shot.

No, Do your own 5th grade math, people in my mentions. it is impossible to win the popular vote by winning the four biggest states, or even build an insurmountable advantage by winning the popular vote with impossible margins in the four biggest states.

Nor does it work with just winning cities. Nor just winning the largest greater metropolitan areas. Popular vote means votes that are now ignored or taken for granted have to be won.

Here Nathan Sharansky and I are at the March 7, 2018, NYC event honoring his life and retirement as head of Jewish Agency. I asked the great Ukrainian chess composer Eduard Eilazian for a problem in homage to Sharansky's own life. A trapped knight escapes to deliver mate!
I honestly don't know how I drew the game in the photo in 1994, and Nathan did beat me in our next simul game, in 1996. He is quite a strong player, not a courtesy draw at all!

Franz Joseph was born in the Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna (on the 65th death anniversary of Francis of Lorraine), the eldest son of Archduke Franz Karl (the younger son of Holy Roman Emperor Francis II), and his wife Princess Sophie of Bavaria.
Because his uncle, from 1835 the Emperor Ferdinand, was weak-minded, and his father unambitious and retiring, the young Archduke "Franzl" was brought up by his mother as a future Emperor with emphasis on devotion, responsibility and diligence.

In December 1848, Emperor Ferdinand abdicated the throne at Olomouc, as part of Minister-president Felix zu Schwarzenberg's plan to end the Revolutions of 1848 in Hungary. This allowed Ferdinand's nephew Franz Joseph to accede to the throne.
