1. As most rural chaps know when you dig a mice hole, you must first identify the mbidyo, the false hole at the other end. You see, mice are clever. When they build their lair, they create a false hole & cover it up. It’s the escape route. Likewise, when dealing with the corrupt.
2. The corrupt have many false holes, their mbidyo. They bribe. They have political elites. The moment you attack the entrance, they swiftly make their way out through the false holes. If you don’t seal them, you will never catch them. You must leave them with only one way out.
3. Unfortunately, the system has created too many false holes for the corrupt. That’s why to date, despite pontification to the contrary, there has been no significant progress in the so-called fight against corruption. Too many false holes which the system has created.
