Annual birthday party Evite madness. Annual complaint that it doesn't let you group two+ emails to one invitee, thus increasing likelihood that just moms will be on invites.

(I INSIST on including all parents /guardians. A blow to the patriarchy that doubles my time spent)

Also some of the dads or other moms in Milo's peer set are the prompt and responsible ones!

But what about a kid who has two households and four parents/stepparents! @evite and the like should figure out a way to group those emails, and flag replies accordingly. RN it looks like I've invited 146 kids.

I know this is a little thing. But it's so indicative of the ways in which schools, camps, and kid-oriented stuff have failed to keep up with the way families live now.

Everything presumes there's a stay-at-home mom, willing to do 3 pm pickups or be the family scheduler.
