Infowars conspiracy-theorist burnout Joe Biggs wants to talk about Portland. Should we talk about his history of rolling deep with neo-Nazis in Portland? Yeah? Ok, let's do it. (thread)
Most recently, white nationalist Patriot Prayer member Haley Adams (rosecityantifa.org/articles/haley… ; rawstory.com/2018/11/damn-s…) claimed that Biggs had committed to speaking at her twice-rescheduled rally, which ended up happening today. Spoiler: he didn't.
On a previous visit to PDX, Joe Biggs rallied with a number of local fascists, including self-described national socialist (neo-Nazi) and David Duke fanboy Volodymyr Kolychev (rosecityantifa.org/articles/psu-f… ; duckduckgo.com/?q=Kolychev%2C…).
Biggs also rallied with PSU fascist Stephen Johnston (rosecityantifa.org/articles/psu-f… ; duckduckgo.com/?q=stephen+joh…), seen here posing proudly with a swastika drawn by his white nationalist friend Liam Wynn (rosecityantifa.org/articles/psu-f… ; duckduckgo.com/?q=liam+wynn+s…).
Biggs was also seen rallying with anti-semitic Holocaust-denier and white nationalist Tylor Phelps (rosecityantifa.org/articles/psu-f… ; duckduckgo.com/?q=tylor+phelp… ; twitter.com/search?q=from%…).
Although his PDX fascist dance-card was quite full, Biggs also managed to make time to pop in with Siege-loving neo-Nazi Aaron Schomaker (rosecityantifa.org/articles/schom…), who gleefully told his Instagram friends that Biggs is a fellow anti-semite (urbandictionary.com/define.php?ter…).

Hey, everyone, remember back in the day on June 4th, 2017 when that Oathkeeper from the Patriot Prayer rally physically assisted in the arrest of a protester? And the cops wrote off the incident, saying "everyday citizens assisting arrests is normal"? Well...
This little "blue on blue issue" slip-up is probably the most rewarding part of the PPB's further text release this morning. Which is saying something, considering that Krogmann also addresses Niiya as "sir" in almost every single text, and it's e.x.c.r.u.c.i.a.t.i.n.g.
Two other texts clarify that Niiya's "Redneck Revolt" fixation--as seen in the initial text release where he literally tells Joey to look up the new PDX RR as a potential threat to him--centers around their gun ownership/use. (Also, he doesn't understand who Brown Berets are).

The kinds of racist rhetoric and conspiracism that are common currency among organizations like Patriot Prayer and the Proud Boys are not just benignly kooky; they trace ideological threads that have driven a great deal of terrifying harassment and extreme violence.
Far-right propagandist Alex Jones disseminated conspiracy theories about the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. This resulted in the parents of children murdered by Adam Lanza receiving intense waves of harassment and threats, forcing some of them to move repeatedly.
Alex Jones was also a major vector in pushing the "PizzaGate" hoax, which culminated in a gunman firing a rifle inside a pizza shop while attempting to "investigate" the claims of the conspiracy. Patriot Prayer leader Joey Gibson cites Jones as the inspiration for his activism.

The Daily Stormer Book Clubs are a network of neo-Nazi cells spread across the US, Canada and Europe that began on Andrew Anglin’s The Daily Stormer web forum. Within these smaller regional groups, fascists can meet IRL to coordinate racist intimidation/violence. #stormerbreaker
Over the past two years, the PDX Stormers have disseminated racist and anti-Semitic propaganda throughout the Portland metro area, in some instances intentionally targeting elementary school children with their anti-Semitic flyering. #stormerbreaker

Despite zero evidence, growing from one Portland police tweet, the conspiracy theory (heavily pushed by far-Right trolls), that #Portland antifascist protesters mixed quick drying cement into over 700 milkshakes which were eaten, has made its way into the mainstream. A thread.
First some context. Since Joey Gibson and goons stepped onto the scene in 2017, we've seen collusion with law enforcement, the creation of a violent far-Right coalition that includes Proud Boys, militias, neo-Nazis and the Alt-Right, and mass community defense against them.
While not all of the far-Right groups who come to Portland agree with each other or have the same views - they all agree they must work together in order to engage in violence against grassroots social movements. Proud Boy Tiny makes the case here - saying he welcomes Alt-Right.

45 years ago today, delegates arrived at the Capital Hilton hotel in Washington DC for Day One of the 7th annual World Anti-Communist League (WACL) conference, the first to be hosted in the United States. #thread
A few months before Richard Nixon resigned, the President's Deputy Special Assistant, Burce Herschensohn, delivered the keynote address at WACL-7. Senator Jesse Helms (R-NC) co-chaired the conference with Congressmen Phil Crane (R-IL) and Clement Zablocki (D-WI).
The event was officially hosted by the American Council for World Freedom (ACWF), which had just elected Phyllis Schlafly's husband its new president. As an important member of the ACWF, Lev Dobriansky had a substantial role in organizing the conference.

OK, a bunch of stuff has happened in the last few weeks, and I'm just back from vacation, so I'm going to do a little impromptu Trump/Russia round-up, just to keep everything straight in my own head.
1/ First, Alex Jones and #InfoWars. The guy admitted, in a court of law, that he was a performance artist who didn't believe any of the crap he was peddling. That was last year. Why are we only now realizing that he's a BS artist & con man? Better late than never, I guess.
2/ The MAGA pundipshits are now re-aligning themselves w/r/t #QAnon. Do they believe Q or not? This is like a crew of hateful Easter Bunnies voting on whether or not the Tooth Fairy is real.

I've read my fair share of conspiracy stuff, and Q is a BAD conspiracy theorist.

The only thing that stopped #Portland from being next #Charlottesville was several centimetres of helmet. Police sent two people to the hospital for head injuries in attacks justified by claims of non-existent "thrown projectiles" in order to protect the heavily armed far-Right.
This was carried by police who for months have used the same tactic - shoot one side to allow the other to escape. In this case, Proud Boys, who for months have attacked citizens walking on the street, were allowed to march and attack more people.
The Portland police are also on record saying that Patriot Prayer is "more mainstream" (guess Kek flags, people who attended Unite the Right, and shirts celebrating mass murderers are mainstream now) despite the ongoing links between far-Right violence and out right killers.

The June 30th rally was called for by Joey Gibson, who is running for Senate in Washington. His call for violence had an almost "Biblical" feel to it, + his hatred of #Portland was clear. "[T]he stench-covered and liberal-occupied streets of Portland will be CLEANSED. CLEANSED."
Gibson has long denied any association with the Alt-Right, neo-Nazis and white nationalists. Yet from the start, his rallies have been a 'broad church' of violent far-Right groups. Must notorious was Jeremy Christian, who went on to slaughter two people + nearly a third in 2017.
