In hmds/cute littering will make you lose approval with the entire town but there's literally no indication you're not supposed to do this. If you pick weeds and throw them onto the ground as is the norm in hm games the townspeople will HATE you and you'll never know why
Speaking of hmds the witch princess in this game is such a freak that you literally have to slaughter your farm animals as a marriage requirement (also give her literally 10k gifts). I love her
The japanese version of hmds had the gimmick that the entire cast were just the identical grandchildren of the awl cast but with different names. They removed this in the english version but sometimes you still got dialogue like this about grandpa gustafa
Speaking of gustafa WHO could forget the infamous gustafa butt scoot where he glitches into his guitar playing animation during your wedding in anwl (starts at 2:30)

Leia is a mermaid, so you have to build a duck pond on your farm before you can marry her. In hmds there are also storms that will randomly destroy your buildings. The pond can get destroyed with her in it and you never see her again

i neglected to mention earlier in this thread that ds cute actually has 1 more special boy bachelor: mason. mason is the dude from whom you order clothes over the phone but turns out if you call him 10 times you can get married
