The @ISPAUK has nominated @mozilla as a finalist for Internet Villain of the year for deploying better security in @firefox to protect the privacy of their users. I can’t even... 🤷♂️ web.archive.org/web/2019070423…

I also noticed that @NCCGroupInfosec @NCCGroupplc are sponsoring the Cyber Security award this year and wonder if they agree that the deployment of secure protocols in your product makes a company worthy of being nominated as the ‘Internet villain of the year’?..
Even the wording of the nomination is shocking. How do you introduce DoH “in such a way” as to do anything?! You deploy DoH in such a way as to be spec compliant. The insinuation in that statement is a disgrace.
Ironic that they even have a Cyber Security award. I guess these companies can expect nominations for ‘villain of the year 2020’ if they do too well?... cc @NCCGroupInfosec @NCCGroupplc

Should I point out the irony that UK ISPs trampled on our privacy by abusing the lack of security on DNS, contributing to the drive to create and adopt DoH, which they're now complaining about? 🤔
Would they need to be licensed to use all of the comic/cartoon charcters in their material? I mean, surely they're not infringing copyright or anything?...
