I’m covering today’s far-right rally in DC, where Proud Boys and other right-wing activists are gathering across the street from a couple hundred counter protesters. 
Another speaker for the far-right dropped out of the rally this morning: hapless conservative operative Jacob Wohl messaged me to make sure I knew he wasn’t speaking, despite being on the agenda. Wohl claims he left town on business.
The DC right wing rally includes these people who claim Prince — and a lot of other celebrities who died tragically — were actually murdered. They claim they have “psychic evidence.”

There are about 200 or so people at the Proud Boys rally. Many more across the street at the counter protest.

Crowd is not really digging Milo’s surprisingly vicious Laura Loomer impression. People drifting away towards barrier separating them from Antifa, as Milo as Loomer declares she’s been “banned from the hotel buffet.”
The Proud Boys rally, not surprisingly, turns out to be mostly an attempt for right wing personalities whose careers cratered after social media bans to promote their latest websites
The Proud Boys rally features some truly baffling appearances. Now on stage: the “gingers have souls” viral video kid from 2010, who is extremely angry as usual.
And the Proud Boys rally has fizzled out. Much better attended counter protest / go-go concert across the street is still going strong.
