The really interesting argument - SDNY says it isn't *bound* by the non-prosecution agreement, arguing that instead only the US Attorney's office in the Southern District of Florida is bound by it
This, from the original non-prosecution agreement what SDNY is relying on - that Acosta only agreed not to prosecute "in this district" (S.D. Fla.) and that the non-prosecution agreement does not bind other US Attorney's offices

Again with the hat tip to Mark Bennett, it's pretty clear DOJ policy to draft non-prosecution agreements narrowly so they don't bind other US Attorneys' offices.

My Occam's Razor explanation:

Epstein was a sociopathic pedophile who realized the simplest way for him to get rich - and stay "safe" - was to blackmail powerful people with life-destroying material

And he just did that for two decades while pretending to run a hedge fund
Like seriously if you've successfully blackmailed an ex-President and a royal, you're not going to want for money

Very strange thing I noticed in The Hill this morning.

@KrisKobach1787, a staunch ally of the President and a favorite of the grassroots, is running for the Senate in Kansas.

How does the @NRSC react to this?

Slamming him, of course.
So who is this Joanna Rodriguez (@joannamrod) - the press secretary slamming Kobach?

Before she worked for @NRSC, she worked for @carloslcurbelo and @RepMichaelWaltz, in addition to Rubio.
Gee, what a surprise - both @carloslcurbelo and @RepMichaelWaltz are no fans of Trump.

Curbelo straight up refused to vote for Trump, and would have considered voting Hillary.

Waltz refused a rally with Trump, preferring a private fundraiser.
