For those interested in the #NXIVM cult saga, we have verified that new documents filed in the case confirm that "the [NXIVM] enterprise continues to exist notwithstanding Keith Raniere's conviction", a startling revelation itself but what is truly extraordinary is...
#NXIVM prosecutors are now writing about #Mexico in a way that is more significant than the past. Prosecutors address "risks" that "members of the [NXIVM] enterprise" could seek to harass or retaliate, while pointing to none other than the U.S. v. Guzman Loera ("El Chapo") case
case (09-CR-466) which was held in the same courthouse as the #NXIVM case, ending only a few months before Keith Raniere (the "Vanguard") of NXIVM was convicted.

It is true that prosecutors have invoked the "El Chapo" case in an official #NXIVM court filing, for the first time.
What does it mean? Those of us closely watching the case have been wondering for a while when and if prosecutors in the #NXIVM case would start looking south to Mexico. The fact that now a recent court document has surfaced where #NXIVM prosecutors invoke the "El Chapo" case
does seem significant, as does the acknowledgment that it is "clear", according to prosecutors, that the "[#NXIVM] enterprise continues to exist notwithstanding Raniere's incarceration".

So, here are some big questions:
If the enterprise "continues to exist", who is running #NXIVM now?

If prosecutors are invoking the "El Chapo" case in #NXIVM court filings while discussing Mexican media, security risks and risks of harassment and retaliation, does it mean #NXIVM is connected to Mexican cartels?
