Because nothing exists which can't be the basis of humor, Epstein Indictment Day allows me to tell my favorite Mann Act joke:

A marine mammal scientist discovers that an extract from the glands of certain seabirds can immunize small cetaceans against all known diseases.
1/
To obtain this miraculous extract, the scientist sets seabird traps on the beach. One morning, after collecting his traps, he notices a cougar lying across his path. He approaches cautiously. It doesn't move. From a distance, he tosses a small pebble. No response.
2/
He approaches closer, and gently prods the mountain lion with a stick. The big cat opens one eye, yawns, and ignores him.

The scientist, carrying his haul of seabirds and eager to continue his research into small-cetacean disease prevention, cautiously steps over it...
3/
... and promptly is arrested by the FBI for violating the Mann Act, to-wit:

>>>Transporting gulls across a staid lion for immortal porpoises.<<<

Thankyouverymuch. I'll be here all week.
