I turned 34 yesterday.

Been seeing those "x lessons I learned in x years of life". Decided to try it out.

First attempt ever to articulate and compile these jumbled concepts and beliefs floating around in my head. Mostly self reminder.

Will share a couple of them here.
We forget the world is not static. It has evolved and it will keep evolving.

Everything big starts small. And will not stay big or small.
More pain, more gain. But not all pain can lead to gain.

Suffer when it’s time to suffer. Not before, not after.

What’s the worst thing that could happen?

What would it look like if this were easy?
Our minds are very efficient. It will keep creating problems for you to solve. So choose problems that will help you grow.

You will never arrive. But you will be unhappy if you don’t have anywhere to go. Have a direction, not a finish line.

Iteration, not destination.
Experience, not performance. Don’t flatter yourself. Put the spotlight on the other person.

Express, not impress. Do it for you.

Most things are noise. Things are important because you make it important.
Everything is contextual. Something can be big or small. It can be hard or easy. It can be good it can be bad.

Thus (re)framing is a superpower. We can solve many problems in life by changing the right level of “zoom” and the right angle.

“I have to” → “I get to”.
Treat people as an end, never as means.

Everyone is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Everyone knows something you know nothing about.

Everyone is doing the best they can with all they have.
When we say we want to be happy, often what we mean is we want to feel alive.

Three simple ways to feel alive:
- be aware of your “normal” and remember you have the power to jiggle it
- notice the abundance
- inject newness
Behind EVERY highlight and presentable states there are invisible behind-the-scenes filled with sweat, tears, spaghetti code, most of the time barely stitched together.

No one knows what they’re doing. We are all figuring it out.
Life is easier when you know who you are, simplest when you know what game you're playing, and best when you play only your game.

Life begins when you are honest with yourself about what you want & why you want it. Never stop asking and run with any new answers you come up with.
You have no other place to be but here. You have nothing else to do but be here and do this.

You are the most interesting person you will ever get to know.

Listen to, get to know, and fall DEEPLY in love with yourself.
Notice the invisible choices.

No one cares or pay that much attention to you. And this is freedom. Take on challenges, expand your comfort zone, go on adventures. Do it for you. You either learn or win.
No one has ever seen the world through your eyes. There is a universe inside you. Own it.

Most stress is being worried about your “brand”. It’s a status game. Relax, you will be fine.
It’s humbling and freeing and empowering to know that beyond all the make up, deep down we are all just Human.

Running around, sharing the world, having human experiences, playing our insignificant yet important part in this beautiful perceived reality.

30% wow you are 34?
20% wow you actually say your age out loud
10% I like the insights

I forgot it's apparently strange for a woman to be all chill sharing her age.
