I am fucking exhausted from all the lies. The BDS movement is not anti-Semitic nor does it want to destroy Israel. Shame on you @RealSaavedra.
With this insane logic, @RealSaavedra is putting himself squarely on the team of Joel Zamel and Psy Group who ran a disgusting, coordinate scheme campaign against BDS activists.
The BDS movement is the RADICAL idea that Netanyahu and Israeli govt should abide by international law.

Khashoggi was murdered, in part, because he was funding a Twitter campaign to fight back against Saudi government bots/propaganda. Apply the Magnitsky Act now.
Khashoggi wired $5k in the days before his death to a group of Saudi dissidents fighting back against MBS. He pledged another $30k.
Khashoggi's friend and leader of the movement, @oamaz7, then was hacked by Israeli company NSO Group. His brothers were jailed and tortured in Saudi. The FBI and CIA told him Saudi wanted to kill him, too.

Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (#BDS) has zero economic impact on Israel. Israel's doing just fine. What it does, is target Jews on campus and Jewish businesses with harassment, vandalism, and worse. The only thing BDS does is give "legitimate" cover to anti-Jewish campaigns.
But let me ask this: if #BDS advocates can refrain from anti-Semitic attacks, tell me what the end game of BDS is? What would have to happen for a boycott to end? A withdrawal to pre-'67 borders? An end to Israel? Only #BDS advocates contribute to this thread please. I'm curious.
When I was in college in the '80s, I participated in anti-apartheid rallies. Because, you know, there really was apartheid in S. Africa. The end game to sanctions was an end to apartheid. It worked. Seeing as there is no actual apartheid in Israel, what is the #BDS end game?

A thread on Omar Barghouti, his recent @nytimes letter and the #BDS movement. To explain why media outlets should only publish pro-BDS statements with a fake news symbol or a health warning.
Omar Barghouti fronts BDS - the boycott movement against Israel. BDS fills the debate with nice sounding keywords & utopian ideas. This is not new. The bloodiest movements in history were all accompanied by aggressive PR campaigns that tried to make themselves look pretty.
But supporting BDS is like promoting a 'flat earth' ideology. BDS has no example it can call on - none - to support itself. Israel is the only free nation in the region - it should be emulated - not ripped apart. If Israel was an Arab state - they'd hold it aloft with pride.
