Someone hacked the official Instagram for Beauvoir, the historic Sons of Confederate Veterans-run Biloxi home of CSA President Jefferson Davis, which still flies a Confederate flag.

One post reads: “These colors do not run, but they sure do sparkle & look fabulous! #lgbtqa
One follower writes, “If this is real I’ll unfollow and never visit again.”
Follower: “How long til it’s gone?”

One of the men who runs Beauvoir confirmed the account was hacked. When someone suggested the admin delete the post, he wrote: “Will do!” That was 17 hours ago.
Those who followed Mississippi’s 2018 special election may recall that Beauvoir is the place where U.S. Cindy Hyde-Smith dressed up as a Confederate soldier once.
