The Boys on Amazon is a great show but man the finale is predictable and doesn't resolve anything

Really disappointing

Great show but no high point
just stops abruptly, extremely unsatisfying
They break through the facade of the supes quickly and then literally nothing happens

It was like episode 4-8 are just a single thread in a loop
I'm pissed because they had so much and just stopped

Fuck your sequels
Fuck your season 2

Just finish the goddamn story

Shooting implies an instance where shots were fired, mass implies a greater than one amount of people

Some standards require people to have been killed to be a "mass shooting" some don't

In terms of more than four people shot, Chicago has had 26 'mass shootings' this year alone

Really excited that this paper is out in the world, as the preliminary versions of it had a major influence on my own thinking around these issues, and on the @urbgeog paper I published last year. But some additional (somewhat belated) thoughts… 1/
I appreciated @EloraRaymond’s provocation about more relative measures of affluence here, since this was the tack I took in my own work. 2/
While there’s obviously no single correct (or even well-established) way to measure these things, I would argue that locally-specific relative measurements are probably more appropriate than national measures - on income/poverty if not also on race. 3/

I just eagerly opened my latest email from @BernieSanders.

I assumed it would be a response to yesterday's events and Trump being an unindicted co-conspirator.

It was not.

It was a long tirade about Jeff Bezos, Amazon and space travel.

Disappointingly out of touch.
Also, #disabled people are not going to stop buying from @amazon. Non-disabled people have a myriad of options that disabled people do not.

Since I was paralyzed, I have been much more reliant on Amazon, as I can no longer go out shopping. Amazon offers me that independence.
I have spoken out/written repeatedly about the need for a living wage in America.

#Amazon should be affording that to its workers, as I have alo written.

But I notice Sanders has not directed his publishers to remove his books from Amazon. (Disclaimer: mine are up there too.)
