Can a mother kill her baby with good reason? Can a father kill his boy with good reason? Can a state kill its citizen with good reason? We live in an insane society yet most insist on the ethics of the death penalty. This is a barometer for how we reject our own sovereignty.
2) If the mother says, "i tried to punish him but I wasn't having any luck so i killed him" is that okay? If not then why is it okay for the state to say the same? I bring this up as an exercise for our thoughts on sovereignty...
3) Dahmer was a product of the state. Manson was too. How is this different than a mother setting up her child so she could later execute him? We know the state is insane but grant them more sovereignty than our own parents.
4) the biggest kicker of all is we don't even let a human decide our death. We give that instead to a committee of jurors. A committee is a corporation not a lifeform. Yet it alone decides if we should die. Like a wirchtrial but everyone dresses nice.
5) if the state held no sovereignty over our lives they would hold no sovereignty over our labor. We would have unanimous government again. Like the people of the long house.
6) How can we believe in a wall but not prison? Both are built on the same thinking. Banishment deters crime. Maybe we should shoot people at the border to be sure? Some already agree. They should favor abortion, too. Both take life at the request of a committee.
7) We want capital punishment because we were chemically trained for the taste. It comes with sinister changes to the role of the state. I don't need you to agree. I know many want the gallows brought back. But we are getting worse at freedom not better. Something to think on.
8) Wishful thinking is deciding a state would never execute someone who was innocent. Psychotic thinking is being okay with a few wrongful deaths every now and again. We are our own worst slave masters. We spit on the sanctity of life every day.
