Moscow Mitch: When Mitch McConnell voted to lift sanctions on one of Oleg Deripaska’s companies, Rusal, he told us all that it had nothing at all to do with a project the company was getting involved with in Kentucky.
But Politico tells us that two of McConnell’s former aides, including one who has been described as being “like a son” to the treason turtle, were involved in lobbying for the company.
Kentucky taxpayers are being forced into business with Rusal as the Republican Gov. Matt Bevin (who is up for re-election this year) invested $15 million in taxpayer dollars in his friend’s rolling aluminum plant before the Russians put in another $200 million.
The really fucked up thing? The plant still isn’t close to having the funding to get built. It’s like Wisconsin’s Foxconn debacle but with more selling out of America. Aren’t people supposed to go to jail for shit like this?
