Yes, he’s a racist: Trump continued on Sunday to piss gasoline on the racist fire he started this week, this time tweeting that the four (it was three the other day) Democratic freshwomen are not “capable of loving our Country.
They should apologize to America (and Israel) for the horrible (hateful) things they have said.” The president went on to call them “weak and insecure people” who are destroying the Democratic Party.
To make the case that he’s not racist, Trump sent out a bunch of white people who kiss his ass to tell us all that he’s not racist. And hey, if you can’t take Stephen Miller’s word for it, then who can you believe?
Local papers in Montana and Florida, are calling their senators cowards and sycophants. Foreign leaders have denounced Trump’s words. Rep. Elijah Cummings, when asked Sunday on ABC if Trump is a racist, said, “Yes, no doubt about it.”
Mercedes Schlapp, however, said Trump is “a compassionate man whose policies have focused on the minority community.” It really is so difficult to tell who to believe.
You can see why news folks are having such a hard time. The NYT, however, after years and years of racist comments and behaviors, has discovered that Trump might have some issues with race.
