really feeling like starting a coalition inspired by st cyprian (reformed occultist) that reaches out to people currently enmeshed in cryptosatanic occult and new age stuff and that promotes christian mysticism and positive god based esoterica... 🤔
people that are “spiritually thirsty” that have ended up in occult world or other weird spots have reached out to me many times to discuss their inclinations that something is “wrong” with what theyre doing.. this is really the only thing im extremely confident advising people on
i used to be that exact type of person shopping the spiritual buffet and being enticed by the self initiatory aspect of the occult and by the aesthetic of western occult in general but also always had some intuitive sense deep down that something was wrong with it
ill probably never be fully equipped to step into a hardcore intra-christian theological debate, nor does participating in such things really interest me (although i love watching obviously) but i feel i am very equipped to tell someone why X Y or Z path is actually something bad
i also feel that the wealth of christian mysticism + actual positive esoterica is largely overlooked + not really considered by most people who are so desperate for some divinity in their lives that they turn to crowley or a book they found that tells them to do some weird ritual
just see so many people so desperate to believe something that theyre caught up in these weird systems that give you a lot of confidence but, if any pressure is applied to them they collapse or reveal themselves to be exceedingly lame. this is the root of many problems imo
