1/ Today is the end of a chapter and the start of a new one.

We’re closing @Ginlane 😭and launching a new company called @patternbrands 😎

2/ @emmettshine, the team, and myself have been working towards Pattern for the last two years, with a goal of building a family of 21st century brands

3/ I’m so proud of what we’ve built at @ginlane. We launched over 50 startups to market and been part of >$15B of value creation.

You might be curious why we’ve walked away from it.

4/ Over the past few years, I noticed that work was following me everywhere. I was checking my email first thing in the AM and last thing in the PM. I remember losing hours of sleep to stress. Weeks were lost to the resulting headaches and exhaustion

I needed to change that.

5/ One of the few times I wasn’t looking at my phone or email was when I was cooking food at home for my family and our friends. I began to realize that those small moments of flow where making a big difference in my overall well-being

6/ I wanted more of those flow moments in my life and talking to the @ginlane team, I realized I wasn’t the only one.

7/ Out of that came Pattern - a family of brands to help our generation enjoy daily life

Each brand we build offers products and services to help find enjoyment in a different part of our daily lives at home - From cooking (like me), to hobbies, to how you live in your space.

8/ Today - we’re launching @PatternBrands and introducing our first brand, @getequalparts, to the world.

9/ I’m so thankful that I get to build this new company with the team who came together at Gin Lane and all the incredible people who have already joined us at Pattern
