Since someone brought it up: I am 100000% unconcerned if the numbers in the feral hogs post were meant to be a fascist dogwhistle for 88/HH because we're not spreading the number 88 and we've made the whole thing into something ridiculous.
Here's a thing about numbers: if you are the choosing which mathematical operations to perform on them, you can steer the process to end up with anything.

If you monitor Q Anon stuff for long, you'll notice their numerology works this way.
And, yep. This was going to be my next example. The Discordian Law of Fives: " ALL THINGS HAPPEN IN FIVES, OR ARE DIVISIBLE BY OR ARE MULTIPLES OF FIVE, OR ARE SOMEHOW DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY APPROPRIATE TO 5."

Or: if you look for fivess, you'll find them.
We should be aware of the significance of 14 and 88 in Nazi and adjacent circles, and especially references to 14 and 88 together.

But we should not fear numbers, because numbers are everywhere.
And the idea that we're somehow unwittingly doing a Nazi's bidding by spending 24 hours posting memes about a ridiculous number of hogs not realizing we're passing secret Nazi codes... it's like the idea that one shouldn't show up to counterprotest Nazis "because they want that."
It's not a prayer wheel that makes them stronger when we post numbers that can, if you apply arbitrary mathematical operations that aren't part of the meme to them, come out to a number they like. It doesn't spread their ideology. It can't lead children back to them.
It was a ridiculous post, we're ridiculing it. It's joyful. It's not helping the Nazis. If a gun-worshipping right-wing libertarian guy got some secret jollies out of slipping in The Hitler Number in a way that made sense to him... tough luck, he's now the Feral Hog Guy.
And 30-50 is now and forever the feral hog number.
We should fear the threat of Nazis, we should fear their violence and greed for power, we should fear what they'll do if we let them.

But we should not cower in superstitious dread of them.
I mean, this is bardic magic in real life. It doesn't get better than this.
