I heard a CPB official on NPR defend dehumanizing mass #ICEraids that traumatize masses of immigrant children—like this girl crying that her dad isn’t a criminal—by saying ICE is obligated to carry out the laws on the books. That’s just what the Nazis said.
Correction: Mississippi US Atty Hurst defended “enforcement operation” #ICEraids traumatizing children, saying “It breaks my heart anytime a child is affected by parents’ illegal activity.” Then compared undocumented immigrants to criminals committing tax evasion and bank fraud.
