"Is it racist to vote for Trump in 2020?" is GOP propaganda framing to reprise rage about "deplorables." A better question keeps the focus on Trump's racism, not voters': Example: "Can a president who promotes racism lead a multiracial country?" @jaketapper @BetoORourke @CNNSotu
@jaketapper @BetoORourke @CNNSotu Dear Media: Don't use questions framed by Republicans as your "tough questions" to Dems. The questions themselves are often loaded w/ GOP propaganda. Journalists should know by now how this works & end the practice. It's not tough, even-handed or informative to promote propaganda
@jaketapper @BetoORourke @CNNSotu GOP propaganda also slipped into Jake's intro about Trump winning in 2016. Republicans gaslight his increasingly dangerous racism by claiming "voters knew him and voted for him anyway." That's false. Not only was he elected in the fog of info war. Few knew then what we see now.
