The 2019 @COSLA and @improvserv Annual Conference speakers list is now available

Our conference will see councillors from across Scotland coming together to network, debate and share the best practice work being carried out in all of our local authorities.

@COSLA will welcome its first former Prime Minister to the 2019 conference as The Rt. Hon. Gordon Brown will deliver the keynote address @OfficeGSBrown

We are also delighted to announce that Scotland’s First Minister The Rt. Hon. @NicolaSturgeon MSP will give the closing address on the first day of conference

Other guest speakers include @ClydesdAileen the @scotgov Cabinet Secretary for Communities and Local Government

@scotgov Chief Design Officer Cat Macaulay @operanomad will discuss how digital can lead the way for the future of local government

@ProfJMitchell and Sir Neil McIntosh will discuss 20 Years of Devolution – the good, the bad and the ugly?

Political scientist and the UK’s most famous pollster Sir John Curtice will predict the local government landscape for the next 20 years

Our political panel will debate the future of local government from panellists @LabourRichard @agcolehamilton @patrickharvie

Including other panellists @JohnSwinney and @DAJCameron
