#PIVOTS General rule - 1) If next days lower cpr is higher than today’s lower cpr, then most likely price has a bullish structure. This is called HV (higher value) relationship; 2) The opposite is LV (Lower Value) relationship; .....
......3) If next days CPR overlaps on the upside then it is called HOLV ( Higher overlapping value) relationship and it denotes most likely a mild bullish structure. 4) The opposite is LOLV (Lower overlapping Value) relationship.....
....5) If next days cpr is completely within today’s cpr then it is called IV (Inside Value) relationship and possibly next day could be a trending day; 6) If next days cpr is completely engulfing today’s cpr then it is called Outside Value (OV) relationship ....
....and most likely price will be range bound within upper cpr and lower cpr. 6) A common rule for bullish and mildly bullish str is price should close above cpr. The reverse is for bearish and mildly bearish str.
