1/ out walking dog in Mission, squad car rolling through. Few minutes/blocks later see it pull over beat up car. So I keep going in that direction...
2/ two white officers ask for ID from occupants. Dog helpfully poops. I clean up, then sit my white ass down on stoop to observe. Cops leave.
3/ seeing there is a woman in passenger seat, I go up to car, and ask if the cops had any reason to pull them over. Nope, Latino couple days. Now, I don’t know why cops slow rolling through our neighborhood picked this car to pull over. And...
4/ to be clear, there is some dangerous stuff that can happen around here at night. And I don’t know if me sitting there watching had any affect on what transpired. We live in fucked up times.
5/ what I do know from 17+ year of living in the Mission is that I almost never see cops on foot—like it could count the number of times day and night on my fingers—only in squad cars, only at night. And that ain’t good @SFPDMission
