I’m hearing well informed suggestions that the @SEAI_ie grant scheme for deep retro fitting ran out of money before the local and European elections but they were told to keep accepting applications.

Those people who went to quite a considerable amount of preliminary expense, or may even have started work, are now on their own.
If this is eventually confirmed, as you’d imagine the government will dispute it, it’s going to seriously shake the confidence of anyone else thinking about retrofitting.
