Antarctic ice is vanishing at its fastest rate in recorded history whilst Greenland ice melt is accelerating exponentially. This will have catastrophic consequences for all life on Earth by 2029.

Things that will be gone by 2029:

1. The Great Barrier Reef.
2. The Amazon Rainforest.
3. Arctic Ice.
4. Orangutans, Rhinos, Sea Turtles.
5. Adequate water supply.
6. Reliable food production.
7. A safe climate.
8. Human existence as we know it.

This is the real news. Isn't it?
Climate breakdown is already severe enough to kill the Great Barrier Reef. Since 2016, coral bleaching events have killed off half of the Reef, and in the next 10 years global warming will spiral out of control.

Survival would appear to be impossible now.
The Amazon Rainforest we know today will be gone and heading for total destruction. A transformation into savannah/desert looks set for between 2050 & 2150.

Models suggesting the forest could die within centuries don't take escalating fires into account.

Extremely fast annual reductions in emissions must become mandatory immediately, but:

How do we limit the damage from this cataclysm?

1. ALL PLANNED, PERMITTED AND UNDER CONSTRUCTION fossil infrastructure must be CANCELLED

2. existing power plants, cars, industry etc MUST BE CLOSED EARLY

3°C - 4°C is baked in - we've no budget left.

Such contradictions reflect significant measurement discrepancies which, in India's case, could be on the order of hundreds of millions of people.
Furthermore, there is the problem of Islamic terrorists, who are trained abroad and find easy fuel in the contradictions within it.
Finally, there’s agriculture which, by some estimates, accounts for 90% of India’s water consumption. Farmers meet irrigation demands by indiscriminately extracting groundwater, which some say accounts for a quarter of the world’s groundwater usage.

Here's a short lesson on weather, climate & climate change. The first thing to know is the difference between weather & climate.
Weather:
- it's what happening environmentally at a "particular place" at a "particular time"
- the weather today is hot, cold, rain, snow, ....

Climate:
- climate is the "average" of the weather
- take the weather at particular place and average it over time (often a year)
- a hot climate is, on average, hotter than a cold climate
- example, the climate in Phoenix, Arizona is hot & dry, even if it's raining or snowing

Climate change:
- this is when you take the average yearly climate and analyze it over many years
- weather information is easy to collect, and gets better every year with new technology
- climate is easy to calculate, it's just an average
- climate change is easy to graph
