Doing an experiment where I open an account through all the major robo-investing apps. Odd that Wealthfront makes you open accounts on their website instead of in-app.

These deep dives from Titan are neat, and talk about a contrarian bet on mobile: 20 stocks, actively managed, with a hedge, charging 1%.

By far the best in app onboarding and experience is with Robinhood. Really great matching of design to audience. Pretty much every other finance/investing app plays it extremely safe with look and feel. Robinhood stands out

Open invest centers around issues. Including some unique ones...with busted links.

Interesting concept picking issues that matter but no explanation for the stocks you get. No magic payoff type feeling. Also really slow loading and full of bugs.

Will keep adding.

Big disclaimer—none of this is opinions on the investing strategies or choices in these apps/companies (most of which I don’t think are better for investors than a simple Vanguard default).

I’m simply curious about the user experience.
