Someone drove a pickup truck aggressively and apparently intentionally into protesters, causing serious injuries, and an ICE official was placed on administrative leave. ICE won’t confirm the official was driving the pickup, but draw your own conclusions. providencejournal.com/news/20190815/…
Better to say a guard at the facility, a local govt chartered entity which operates under the authority of the US Marshals and ICE, rather than an ICE official. The article has it right; my mistake.

This is so bad. It misconstrues prosecutorial decisions as factual conclusions about the underlying event. It also uses a definition of murder from federal law that’s inapplicable to an event under the jurisdiction of Missouri. It’s a sloppy opinion piece, not a fact check.
In case you think that’s a distinction without a difference, compare the unusual and rarely invoked federal murder statute used by @jaketapper and the Missouri statutes that would have applied had a murder case against Wilson been tried.
imho Wesley Lowery exploded Tapper’s argument before he even taped it.

US Attorneys don’t do this. They are not supposed to be political offices.
On the merits, the attack makes no sense. The perpetrator has a state and federal record incl violent offenses and weapons offenses far longer than the DA’s tenure. Krasner says he shouldn’t have been on the street and plans to seek a life sentence. cnn.com/2019/08/15/us/…
AND Krasner apparently brokered the nonviolent ending of the standoff last night, probably preserving more cops from getting hurt. What was Mcswain’s contribution?

Years ago, I moved to Chicago. To say I fled Los Angeles in the dead of night with only a suitcase of clothes is just a slight exaggeration. It wasn't a move. It was a getaway. I arrived in the teeth of a blizzard, crashed on my friend's couch, and promptly got pneumonia.
I moved there for the theatre scene - so - pneumonia or no - zero clothes or no - I decided to get cracking on auditioning. An actor friend gave me a heads up that a theatre company was holding auditions for a production of Golden Boy. Lightning bolt of excitement: ODETS.

The NSA spent more than a year searching for the flaw in Microsoft’s software and writing the code to exploit it. NSA TAO operators jokingly referred to it as “EternalBluescreen” because it often crashed computer systems, a risk they might tip off targets. It took months to hone.
Once it became a reliable espionage tool, it netted some of the NSA’s best counter-terrorism intelligence, and there was never any serious consideration that NSA would turn over the underlying flaw to Microsoft for patching. The NSA kept it for 5+ years until unidentified hackers
