/ Funny how Breitbart got #RacismExposed trending & yet they were founded by a guy-and still bear his name-who was a member of a frat at Tulane that covered up a cross burning on their lawn, for two weeks in '89. They, and he, said nothing and kept the info from Tulane police..
/ Even tho they themselves had been targeted bc of a bid offered 2a black student. You'd think they'd want punishment 4 such a hate crime or at least exposure, but no, the frat president (a friend of Andrew's) said he wasn't even sure it was a hate crime...
/ ...bc the cross was 'only 2 feet tall...' When some of us called a press conference 2 condemn the cross burning & cover up, the frat continued 2 stonewall investigators. When I brought this up to Andrew b4 his death he said HE was the one who pushed 2 get the black guy a bid..
/ ...but if true, that makes the story even WORSE. It means that when his "black friend" was targeted in a hate crime, rather than come out and say something, he --as with the rest of the frat--remained silent and collaborated in the cover up...
/ ...which the Tulane police chief said had made it nearly impossible to find the perpetrator...some "friend." You'd think if Andrew had been a real friend he'd have quit the frat to protest their silence, but no, he didn't...he went along with it and expressed no concern...
/ ...about racism at Tulane, even the kind that would target his ostensible friend. But now, the hate rag he founded has the temerity to EVER make an issue of someone else's racism? To hell with that...
