WHAT'S AN FBI 1023?

In his recent list of 10 declassified Russia-related item that could rock Washington, John Solomon starts his list with FBI Form 1023s thehill.com/opinion/campai…
Evidently, a 1023 is similar to FBI Form 302, but the 1023 describes interactions with a CHS instead of a witnesse. The way Solomon describes it, a 1023 may indicate two-way sharing of information. Solomon suggests that the FBI may have told Steele about CH information.
In December 2017, Trey Gowdy emphasized that Congress needed to view some 1023s, presumably Steele 1023s. Gowdy seems to suggest that the 1023s may possibly implicate James Baker (former FBI General Counsel), Peter Strzok, or Lisa Page.

I may be reading too much into Gowdy's statements. After all, it is far more likely that Steele's FBI handler was Michael Gaeta. Regardless, based on Solomon's reporting, what the FBI told Steele is as important as what Steele told the FBI.
Turns out that Judicial Watch acquired several declassified Steele 1023s in August 2018. Sounds juicy, doesn't it? Declassified Steele 1023s!

Not so much. The declassified Steele 1023s are fully redacted. judicialwatch.org/documents/jw-v…
