@mizzunky I don't believe it was the FBI running any ops...

I do think it was likely control of select individuals on both sides that allowed 9/11 to happen, but the bulk of profit and cover-up was run in the interest of a GOP-dominated House and White House.
@mizzunky Just look to 2005-2006, when the charges against Epstein started to foment.

What happened next?

Foleygate, which implicated Hastert in a relatively innocuous, yet foreboding, way - at least for those of us who knew what Hastert really was.
@mizzunky But it's the GOP that has made it a practice of selectively promoting those who are increasingly compromised to positions of power within the party.

Gingrich gets the axe b/c affair? replace with Bob Livingston, who... affair.
@mizzunky Livingston gets busted, so replace with the most compromised fucker in your party - because you know none of his victims will come forward against the Speaker of the House.... those who are still alive, anyway. 😡
@mizzunky He gets caught? Back down a bit for a while, but when that fucker finally gets publicly busted for his crimes against children...

the mob kicks into action hardcore.
@mizzunky So while Hastert's charges are all over the news, along with the stories of his victims, TWO WEEKS LATER, the mob and the GOP throw in together, and Trump comes down the cheap-ass gold-plated escalator, cheered on by a paid 'crowd...'
@mizzunky And starts calling Mexicans rapists, drug dealers, throwing EVERYTHING offensive he possibly can out there to take the ultimate point of the news about Hastert off the front page.

Two weeks after the indictment. Days after the revelation it was to cover for child sexual abuse.
@mizzunky As an aside - I just discovered that there is a complete archive of the Weekly World News online. 😮

onlinebooks.library.upenn.edu/webbin/serial?…
@mizzunky That said, I'd like to more thoroughly address the timeline of Trump campaign and developments in the Hastert narrative to pinpoint where there is clear overlap - but I don't have the resources on hand to do that now.
@mizzunky Anyway, while I do think that Trump planned to run, I think that the timing of the announcement was likely a response to the beginning of the unraveling of the blackmail that multiple foreign nation states and criminal enterprises had collected on politicians over prior decades;
@mizzunky But don't forget this:

there was only one party with the clear intent of knowingly promoting child sex offenders to positions of power ( in case you're wondering about the male/female balance in the GOP? that's a big part of it )...
@mizzunky and there was only one party in control of both houses in the legislative branch AND the executive branch from 2001-2007 - while the War on Terror and the serious Epstein fuckery were both ongoing.

And that party was the GOP, led by one J. Dennis Hastert and one Dick Cheney.
@mizzunky It wasn't the FBI seeking 'opportunities.'

It was those who controlled the budgets for the FBI and those who picked and chose those who held positions of power within the DOJ, working to cover their own asses and conceal their own profiteering from the attacks on the US on 9/11
@mizzunky That said, there are clear natsec considerations to functionally taking out an entire political party and part of another. My take is that once Obama got into office, especially after the OBL takedown, there was a lot of strategy that went into what to do next.
@mizzunky Then Hastert was taken down, and Trump announced, just as a distraction and profit-driving venture... but Vladik had other ideas, and leveraged Trump's greed and short-sightedness, along with the kompromat he had on Trump to push it through...
@mizzunky and was able to leverage the info they already had plus whatever they got from the GOP in their own words from SMARTech while the Hastert case was ongoing to basically use their own words against them, sealing the deal that they all knew about Hastert and others' predilections...
@mizzunky And has used that info to force the House and Senate GOP into compliance over the past 3 years.

And that's why all the resignations this year.

Because it's all about to break wide open.
@mizzunky And I will most certainly have a bittersweet Schadenfraude Cocktail on hand the day that happens.

It takes time, though I believe that something the Dotard did recently has accelerated that timeframe... and I sure do hope something is going to break Thurs/Fri -
@mizzunky so we can finally begin getting our nation back on the path towards pursuing a more perfect union led by patriots, not profiteers.
