It positively blows my mind that so many people just go placidly along w/the idea that trans is a civil rights movement when every corporation & government institution are jumping on board with this program like flies on Sh*t. It's hilarious. Why would they care if not for $$?
I mean, any civil rights movement worth it's weight in salt does not generally have the backing of the countries governments & banking systems. If Americans were any denser, well......I don't think they could be.....LOL.
Remember how Mastercard rallied for the Water Protectors in Dakota? Remember how the governments rallied for prison reform? Remember how Wall street got behind Occupy? Remember how Converse, Chanel & Doritos celebrated women's rights? hehehehe.........sooooo dense.

They are opening up markets for transgressing the laws of human biology & changing the laws to do so. Trans"gender" is just the ad campaign, kids. If you don't want what they're selling you better resist now while you still can. This is on warp speed.

It is so important to look beyond the facade of progressiveness also being promoted w/this ideology. Disembodiment is being embraced by governments, corporations, banks, all our social institutions & corporate media.
Changing human bio, transgressing our biological boundaries as humans is being framed by pharma & tech industries, which interface with the media, Hollywood & all our institutions, as self-empowerment, courage, anti-establishment, vanilla, cool, edgy, and a new lifestyle.

Why are sports associations allowing men to compete against women or play beside them, as women, if they self ID as women?
Because transgenderism is pharma's new cash cow. Pharma intersects w/every aspect of our society. It is 1.12 trillion $ in annual profits large.

Good grief. Dinesh D'Souza is completely wrong, of course, and @ewarren is on point. Here we go with a thread on the history of why and how conservatives use race disingenuously to argue that gays don't face discrimination and don't deserve civil rights.
First, a caveat. This thread is for all of you folks out there who engage with history in good faith and want to learn more about the past. I have no aspirations of schooling D'Souza as he doesn't care about facts.
Also h/t to @timothysw and his response to this post.
Statements such as D'Souza's come from a long line of conservative attempts to erase the overlaps between gay rights and AfAm civil rights, to erase queer people of color, and to disqualify gay rights claims through a bad faith appeal to AfAm history.

Montgomery City Tour this morning with people from Rwanda, Thailand, China, Mexico, and U.S. Hearing story of Civil Rights Movement, an older white lady spoke up at the end and said, “I was here. I remember. Those were difficult days, but were needed for us to change.” Powerful.
