When I was in Std 7 or 8, I was caught helping another student during an exam. It was Fill in the Blanks. The kid behind me wanted the answer to 4b. So I tilted my exam pad to let him see the answer. And I got caught. +
Krishnamurthy Sir, or Kittu as we called him in private, was not at all amused. He always thought I was a good kid. And here I was - in flagrante delicto. +
In my defence, I sheepishly said, "Sir, I showed him just one answer Sir. It's only a one mark question, Sir". +
Kittu then said something that's imprinted in my mind forever. To a shocked classroom, he thundered, "Listen boy, you know what Shit is?"
"Yes, Sir" I replied, jolted by this descent into unparliamentary language by the the esteemed English teacher. +

Kittu continued, "If you even eat the smallest piece of shit, you've eaten shit. Do you understand that, young man?"
