Hidden in the judgment of my insolvency lawsuit is the revelation that Emerdata Ltd is owned by Cambridge Analytica Holdings LLC. So many stories in this saga that the press just hasn’t really covered.
SCL Insights Ltd acquired assets from SCL Group just before abruptly shutting down. Cambridge Analytica Holdings LLC owns Emerdata which acquired SCL shares. SCL Insights Ltd is still active, run by Nigel Oakes, and presumably still running open military and government contracts.
Another weird thing you can see in the Justice Norris judgment is about Nix making offers to buy back CA/SCL after being sacked by the board. A transcript of an earlier court hearing under Justice Hildyard shows Nix said he was interested (in a toxic asset.) How brazen is that?

Even in the almost certain outcome that the Senate would acquit, the incumbent could still lose the election. If it’s all just predictive analytics then what about demoralizing turnout by not impeaching?
A vape ban could be as consequential as impeachment. We can’t predict the future. Punditry is our poison. Principles are all that we have left.

My critique of the piece was far too subtle but the Atlantic is one of these regal institutions that not only failed to uncover scandals but also failed to contend with sexism that undergirds attacks on a fearless freelancer who has outdone male staffers.

Data-mining firm Cambridge Analytica brought in about $25 million in 2016, but business sharply declined in 2017, to approx $5 million, as questions into tactics mounted - according to new bankruptcy-court records filed on Thursday wsj.com/articles/cambr…

A quick clarification, I removed "in 2017" in article title - Emerdata was incorporated in 2017 and Erik Prince's business partner Chun Shun Ko was appointed Director on January 28, 2018, which is noted in article, so this is a recent business partnership
