Now, here’s the big question, how do you help your employees plan their vacations sustainably? 🤔
Start small. Search for a tour operator with affordable packages, preferably local. Negotiate great deals and categorize them according to salary levels
Encourage automated deductions towards these trips, and commit to pay a reasonable but sustainable percentage of the entire cost.
Why should you do this? Consider it an investment in the preservation of the most important resource—your people.

Managers, Know When to Stop Talking and Start Listening

As a manager, you probably have to talk a lot. You want people to have the guidance and direction they need, of course, and there are plenty of situations where you need to speak your mind.
But at some point, talking a lot can turn into overcommunicating. You can end up dominating conversations, which means employees’ perspectives aren’t being heard. To make sure you aren’t talking too much, listen as much as you speak.
When someone raises a question in a meeting, invite others to weigh in before you. In fact, don’t contribute your thoughts until several other people have offered theirs. That way everyone is included and feels that their input is valued.

Alright everybody, this is it! Today is closing arguments for the Timothy #BassTrial. Bass has been on trial for more than a week for 1st-degree murder for the 1989 death of Mandy Stavik. I have been live-tweeting the proceedings for @BhamHerald and will continue to do so today.
Right now, the attorneys are discussing pre-trial motions with the judge, such as what specific instructions will be given to the jury. The jury is expected to be brought in around 9:45 a.m., with closing arguments to begin shortly after that.
The judge said that when members of the media will be informed that a verdict has been reached, they will have 1 hour to get to the courthouse for the proceedings. Jury will deliberate between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Judge Olson said.

🚨 WISCONSIN: GOP legislature votes *tomorrow*—Thu 5/9—to rip Medicaid expansion out of the governor's budget. If they win, 82,000 people won't get coverage. $1.6 billion in public dollars won't return to the state. Individual market premiums won't be reduced. Time to fight. 1/
7 out of 10 Wisconsinites want to expand Medicaid. That's a supermajority. But the gerrymandered Republican legislature wants to keep people off of insurance, keep premiums high, and recklessly rip holes in the state budget to avoid giving Evers a win.

Lp(a) blood level show a dose-response relationship to cardiovascular disease risk in multiple studies, and Lp(a) is now widely considered a reliable marker for CVD risk.
