What Venus in Aquarius is attracted to and what they need in love:
Venus in Aquarius is all about wanting to feel comfortable in love. They want to feel like they can be themselves around the person they’re with. They have a “friends first, lovers second” mentality.
This is good because more than anything, they feel like a genuine compatibility HAS to be there for them to entertain anyone.
The issue comes in at their insecurities. They may play the “friend” a little too much if they aren’t confident in themselves. Venus in Aquarius will accidentally friend zone themselves more than any other Venus sign.
Because companionship is so important to them, they can forget about other things that a romantic relationship needs like passion and sexual tension/chemistry.
Venus in Aquarius is in their head a lot so they assume that the other person will be able feel their passion through their words lol. Venus in Aquarius doesn’t change easily so getting them to open up to being more “hands on” affectionate/“romantic” could be a challenge.
Venus in Aquarius is attracted to someone who is always “out of reach” in someway. This could be emotionally, mentally or physically. They have an issue with being emotionally vulnerable and present so someone who isn’t fully accessible is comfortable for them.
Venus in Aquarius is also attracted to someone with mental acuity, wit and intelligence. They have to feel like you’re smart enough to be with them.
Venus in Aquarius NEEDS someone who is a opened minded and non conventional. Venus in Aquarius may want to be friends for 3 years before getting into an actual relationship. They may never want to get married or they could be into polygamy.
Venus in Aquarius doesn’t want to be confined by what society says a relationship “should” be and they want to make up their own terms. Their terms could be selfish though, so make sure you’re the flexible one.
