1/ This is one reason why the debates are really stupid. Every business calculates a compensation package for the employee--salary or wages, vacations, overtime, medical & dental insurances, income & welfare taxes, etc. That's a big pot of money that gets divvied up into little
2/ pots. As he explains here, if your total health care cost goes down a lot, but your taxes go up a little, you are way ahead of the game. But, journos want the "gotcha" moment that your taxes will go up. Warren is too smart for these idiots. 
3/ And Biden loves to play the GOP game as well. Oh Bernie & Liz, M4A will cost $32 trillion over 10 years. But, doing nothing will cost us $50 trillion. So, back of the envelope calculation, oh, we save $18 trillion. I watch the debates, but I'm not impressed by the questioners
4/ or the format. In the hours leading up to a "debate," you would think they would do some analysis of various health care plans: who is covered, the cost, what happens if you lose a job, etc etc. Then, you could ask pointed questions comparing various plans. Instead, we get
5/ idiots asking questions. Ramos, suggesting he's like the Latinx champion, ignores the burning Amazon and goes for the idiot question: "So, Bernie, you're a socialist like the Venezuelans, whattaya think of that?" At that point, I wanted to throw a shoe at him. Ramos, the
6/ Latinx guru, never bothered to ask a question of how climate change disruptions in Latin America will produce mass migrations of climate refugees and what national and domestic security problems does that pose for the US, Mexico, and Latin America.
